2027 Dance Recital

Our annual recital takes place each spring and is presented in two separate performances. Check back next spring for recital schedules.

Dress rehearsal is held the morning of the recital and is required for all performers.

Please arrive with:

• Hair styled for your dancer's first routine
• Performance makeup already applied
• All costumes, shoes, tights, and accessories
• Every costume piece and pair of shoes clearly labeled with your dancer's name

Jewelry should not be worn unless your instructor has given specific permission. Please ensure that no undergarments are visible with any costume.

Please enter through the front entrance of the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center.

After arriving:

• Check in at the dancer registration table in the west lobby.
• Parents may escort dancers to their assigned dressing room.
• Our Backstage Moms will check dancers into their classes and assist with costume changes throughout the day.
• Parents may then take a seat in the auditorium to watch rehearsal.

To help everything run smoothly, please allow our Backstage Moms to handle costume and shoe changes once your dancer has checked in.

• Dancers should arrive in full costume with all required shoes and accessories.
• Stage makeup is required for all female performers to prevent facial features from appearing washed out under stage lighting. Lipstick, blush, and eye makeup are recommended.
• Only bottled water is permitted inside the auditorium.
• Please review your recital packet for class-specific costume details, hairstyles, tights, and accessories.
